About me

My name is Mado Balkilo from the Kurdish city of Afrin, located in northwestern Syria.

I lived my childhood and grew up in Egypt  I studied all of my grades at International Private Schools in Cairo I studied journalism and media at the American Academy of the American University in Cairo.

Also, I studied photography in modern academy in Cairo.

I am a researcher and political analyst in the affairs of the Middle East and North Africa. I am also a human rights activist  I studied. At the Amnesty International Academy.I have many political articles on dictatorships and repressive governments,Also I have many articles on life, different cultures, and successful experiences,I also have 9 books. On the cities of Afrin, on the dictatorship, on political Islam, on extremism and violence.I am an independent journalist who believes in freedom and democracy, and I respect very freedom of opinion and expression,And I respect international laws that respect human rights,I am against the suppression of the freedom of journalists and human rights activists in the world.

My thoughts are very liberal and democratic, and I will always remain so
